The Call

"Dear Elder Rowley:
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the England Manchester Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 24 months."

"You should report to the Missionary Training Center in Preston, England, on Friday, 29 August 2008. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the English language..."

ENGLAND MANCHESTER!! I am so excited!

The best part of tonight is that I can now, finally, go through the Temple!!

It's here!

We can't open it until we gather everyone together at about 9 p.m. tonight. If you haven't guessed yet, please enter your guess in the comments section here.

More later...

Status Update

My call has been issued, the Quorum of the Twelve and First Presidency know where I am going!! It should be here next Wednesday or Thursday unless it gets lost in the mail. It's still not too late to post your guess in the comments section of the last post! My guess: Ghana Africa.

Where in the world is Luke going to serve?

Provo Utah South?

Probably not.

Will he serve where his father served? The Finland, Helsinki Mission?

Or where his mother served? The Belgium, Brussels Mission?

He could learn to speak Navajo or Portuguese like his grandfathers did.

Or not.

The fact remains, he could be going anywhere in the whole wide world.

Please post your best guess in the comments section below (No dear brother, you cannot just guess Europe!).

Winners will be announced when the envelope arrives...
